Parent/Teacher Support Group Meets Monthly

Parents of special needs children are invited to attend a free Parent Support Group that will meet the second Thursday of each month. Sharon Claiborn, Kerrville ISD Special Education Counselor, said that parents do not need to have children in public school or in Kerrville in order to participate.

The meetings generally feature a short program with a speaker or activity, then parents are free to network.

Meetings run from 6:30-8:00PM and are held in the Student & Family Services Center located behind the Mentoring Center at 805 Tivy Street in Kerrville. Free babysitting is available during the meeting.
